WEEKLY VESPERS
We generally gather on Sunday afternoons for Vespers.
Vespers is traditionally associated with evening prayer and is part of the liturgy of the hours dating back to the Middle Ages. For A WORK IN PROGRESS it denotes a time for prayer and meaningful conversation within the context of faith incorporating sacred rhythms and sacred texts. While our roots in the Christian tradition, we welcome all persons regardless of their faith tradition or ways they connect to their higher power.

We meet at MatchBOX Co-Working Studio, area parks, members' backyards, retreat centers, and nature preserves. We also gather around campfires for holy conversations and smores, tables for community meals, and shorelines for baptismal services.
We talk about everything from racism and reconciliation to nonjudgment and being your true self . Our conversations include a biblical perspective and our conversation partners include theologians, philosophers, scientists, and poets. Occasionally we draw on the sacred texts and writings of other religions.
